BRIGHTNEEDLE'S MOUNTAIN FLOWERS  $125.00 - sold out until next class
this class comes as a complete kit and is a departure from their usual sweet designs.  mountain flowers collection includes a clutch etui, needlebook and fob.  the etui is worked in an "all-over" pattern, giving it an almost tapestry look.  there are 8 specialty stitches used plus a smidge of over-1 stitching.  the construction, with it's side tabs is unusual but easily accomplished.  this collection is worked on 29 count glenshee linen using weeks, crescent colours and gentle arts sampler threads.  included in the kit is a woolies pincushion, designed especially for mountain flowers by sue fay.

this class will be taught in two sessions (october 5th and 20th, 2009) via a specially formed yahoo group that is available when you are.  admission to the class is only extended to participants of the class and this will be a closed group.  at sign-up, your card will be charged a $60.00 deposit to hold your class kit.  the balance of the class fee ($65.00 plus $4.95 postage) will be charged to your credit card when the kit is mailed to you the middle of september.  postage will be delivery confirmation flat rate priority unless you are overseas - then we will ship airmail.  

we love this piece...and we have a couple more brightneedle up our sleeve too...for later on in the fall.  enjoy...it is really quite wonderful.

DREAMKEEPER ETUI by brightneedle

we are very pleased to offer dreamkeeper etui from brightneedle.  this is a five piece accessory grouping consisting of the etui, needlebook, scissors flat, scissors fob and dreamkeeper with the description as follows:  the front of the etui is a sylvan scene with a pocket to hold the small stitched dreamkeeper.  the theme continues onto the back and includes a short verse about dreams and wishes.  the etui neatly holds the flat, needlebook and scissors with fob as well as a small beautifully hand-made cherry floss palette by miller carpentry (first offering of this size palette and it comes with your kit!!)  all pieces are worked 1 over 1 on 32 count belfast cream linen using soft colors in various silk and cotton flosses.  silk ribbon or cording is used in the finishing.  all pieces except the fob are lined with pima cotton fabric with specialty stitches being used in the stitching.

this is a first time offering and we are so excited. the class is finishing techniques only and does require pre-stitching of the outside keeper fabric.  the supplies include gloriana hand-dyed silks in ltd. edition colors and 32 sandstone linen.  all linen, silk fibers, silk dupioni, button, finishing supplies etc. are included.  it is a complete and total kit.  scissors are not included.
